The Sol Munki Grand Opening

Took place at Discover Mills. Saturday. July, 11th! Boy was it live! Free food. Free drinks. Guest performances. A grand opening like no other. Everyone had been waiting for this event for ages. Shouts out to 130!

Made it there around 3.30 pm and was greated by the many faces of Sol Munki well-knowns. It was a chill event. We hung out, laughed, talked to everyone, adn shopped. I went with Eddie and his sister and my friend also. Afterwards we met up with friends and spent the rest of the night hanging out. Great day :]. 'MTV's 16 and Pregnant' is an hour-long documentary series focusing on the controversial subject of teen pregnancy. Each episode follows a 5-7 month period in the life of a teenager as she navigates the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, rebellion, and coming of age; all while dealing with being pregnant.

Each story offers a unique look into the wide variety of challenges pregnant teens face: marriage, adoption, religion, gossip, finances, rumors among the community, graduating high school, getting (or losing) a job. Faced with incredibly adult decisions, these girls are forced to sacrifice their teenage years and their high school experiences. But there is an optimism among them; they have the dedication to make their lives work, and to do as they see fit to provide the best for their babies.

Michael Jackson: Deeply Missed by the World

My heart is overwhelmed by the world's way of paying tribute to Michael Jackson. Radio staions, television stations, and shows have all been dedicating their time and support to pay tribute the the King of Pop. Who has had a greater influence globally?

I may be only 16 years old and the adults may say "Girl, what you know about Michael?" You'd be suprised. Raised my a mother obsessed with the man, an uncle dedicated to his every album, interview, television appearance, and word, and surrounded by a family in love with Michael Jackson like he was one of their own.

To hear that he had passed broke my family down. I had to take a moment to leave the house and escape from all the sadness. My mom nearly lost her mind, crying like i had never heard before. She talked about how it felt to see him in person and how she hated the way that half the world tried to make him seem like such a bad man. My auntie cried, and cried about how she felt so sorry for him family, kids, and mother.

My uncle pleaded to God and asked God why did he have to take this man when he was on the verge of a comeback. God works in mysterious ways.

I remebered being with my uncle and him having my little brother and I watching all his movies, videos, interviews, and listening to all his albums over and over again. Michael was a large part of my young life. Every family event or get together consisted of his albums being played constantly and my family members imitating his dance moves. Good times.

I remeber my mom's thriller jacket, all her albums, button, and other Michael Jackson collectables. I has the fortunate luck of being in a family that truly loved Micahel Jackson and was dedicated to his loving heart and amazing talents.

He will truly be missed. Even by my 5 year old cousin Grace, that listened to Micahel Jackson even in the womb. This man has made such a strong impact on the world. People in London, Tokyo, Africa, Australia faint and go hysterical at the site of him. Amazing.

I am so glad to the entertainment world paying their respects to Michael. It is finally time that he earned the respect that he deserved. Enough of the put-downs about him.

You will truly be missed Michael. But you will live on forever and forever.

A message to my black people:

I love my black people and this message doesn't apply to them all. But there comes a time when the ignorance of many of my black people angers me to the point that all I can do is shake my head. Why is it that the Mcdonalds run by the majority white staff appears cleaner and more professional than the Mcdonalds in my area run by mostly blacks. The cashiers greet me with a bad attitude, employees are outside smoking a blunt, and the restroom is unrecognizable.

But this is definantly not only true for "Mcdonalds".
I commend my black people that are running a successful, professional business. But for the ones that turn everything into a "ghetto mess", I wish that you would re evaluate. Of course white people have their negatives to, but I want to particularly speak to my fellow african americans. Why can't more of us carry ourselves in a respectable manner?

Why do many establishments we have, have to be ghetto? Why are your employees dressed in extremely wrinkled clothing with their shirts untucked and dingy, looking a hot mess. The ignorance is a turn off.

White owned or black owned, a business and its workers should ALWAYS present themselves with upmost professionalism and ACT like they have some sense. I'm tired of going into the nicer "white areas" and finding cleanliness, security, and a fresh view. But let us drive into the Dekalb County section (an area where nearly only black people live) and find trashy and unpleasant sights. Everyone STILL wants to be a thug. Even the GROWN MEN around here.

Come on black people. Can't we all just be the better man (or woman). There are no excuses anymore.

What better way to expand our site than to create a blog for it? On this day, June 16, 2009, I Tai Thomas... (and Eddie) created a blogger! Whooo hoo! We decided to create the official atitagain.net website based on our own experiences. An infinitive amount of times that we disagreed on something. We actually disagree on nearly EVERYTHING. and we're sure the majority of the opposite sex population does too. At It Again wasn't only created for people in relationships.
